LATIN
The basics of the above languages are learned with advantage through the Latin language. That is why Latin is a formative subject for the students who do the Bündner Matura. Latin is recommended but not compulsory for students who come to us from outside the canton of Grison.
MATHEMATICS AND NATURAL SCIENCES
Mathematical knowledge and mathematical logic are the essential requirements to succeed in science. The primary subjects are:

The primary subjects are deepened with the main topics "Physics and Applications of Mathematics" (PAM) and "Biology & Chemistry".
ECONOMICS & LAW
The primary subject "Introduction to Economics and Law" is continued in the major subject "Economics and Law".
The subject "Business & Law" imparts - mainly in English, the language of business - an understanding of economic, social and spatial processes. The students learn this understanding based on current and historical developments.
MUSIC: THE PARTICULAR STRENGTH OF OUR HIGH SCHOOL
Music connects. The cultivation of music is part of the obligatory heritage and is one of the strengths of our school.
Music with a focus on music receives exceptional support. The renowned high school choir with its performances and concerts is widely known, especially as far as its church music repertoire is concerned.

The Gymnasium & Internat Kloster Disentis (GKD) is a pedagogically managed, state-recognised grammar school & boarding school with globally recognised degrees and thus educational access to the best universities for you.
To do this, you follow the path prescribed by the state. But that doesn't mean that you don't have the opportunity to live or develop your preferences.
