Samichlaus Fest

January 03, 2023

As every year, as part of our boarding school community with invited guests (the rector, the CEO of SwissEduGlobe and a few monks), we celebrated the Samichlaus festival and the farewell of our long-time boarding colleague Marc Schmed on the Salaplauna. On the 8th of December we went torchlight through the winter Disentis, afterwards we all enjoyed a delicious cheese fondue (prepared by the KKD kitchen crew) and enjoyed the evening in pre-Christmas mood. The dessert was donated by Mr. Schmed.

Afterwards the Samichlaus and Schmutzli visited us and knew to report something from each year for each student. The Prefects and the boarding school leader had to come forward here too ... All received their bags and were then able to return to boarding school. A big thank you to all who contributed to the success here.
