OUR PROGRAM

Every year, Swiss eduGLOBE brings the world a little closer through its Dual Cultural Exchange Programme between the Gymnasium Kloster Disentis (GKD) in Switzerland and partner schools in South Africa and Namibia. Rooted in the centuries-old learning heritage of Disentis and inspired by Swiss eduGLOBE’s mission to broaden young minds, this two-week exchange opens a window to new cultures, perspectives, and lifelong friendships.

Learners step out of the familiar and into an immersive international experience: living with host families, sharing in daily school life, exploring historic and natural landmarks, and discovering how others think, learn, and see the world. It is a programme shaped around curiosity, character, and connection.

Whether wandering through Alpine villages, experiencing Southern African warmth and tradition, or working together in classrooms, students return transformed — more confident, more globally aware, and inspired by the friendships and stories that will shape their future.
